Service Description
Sculptural Approach In this workshop, we explore sculpting as a way to build organic, textural forms rather than creating figurative objects. Starting with a vessel as a base, we add coils and slabs of clay which are then sculpted, carved, or textured to create movement, depth, and surface interest. The focus is on transforming the clay into forms reminiscent of natural landscapes or eroded rocks, with holes, textures, and layered surfaces that reveal the structure and energy of the material. Sculpting here is a tool to enhance the expressive, tactile qualities of the clay, making each piece uniquely dynamic. The process is calm and exploratory, encouraging experimentation without pressure for perfection. š¤ Time: 10:00ā14:00 each day (8 hours total) š¤ Location My ceramics studio in Vari, Greece (seaside suburb of Athens) š¤ Level All levels welcome, including beginners. Includes materials and firings. Shipping cost not included in the price. Your place is secured with full payment at the time of booking. If plans change, Iām happy to help you reschedule to another available date.
Cancellation Policy
Before You Join Language Workshops are held in English. Whatās included All materials, tools, and the firing of your pieces are included, unless stated otherwise. Ceramics is a living process ā small variations, cracks, or changes may naturally occur during drying and firing. Shipping Shipping is not included. Costs are calculated individually, based on destination and the size of the final pieces. Once parcels are handed to the courier, responsibility for delivery lies with the shipping service. Bookings & changes Bookings are non-refundable. If youāre unable to attend, your place may be rescheduled to another available date, with prior notice. Missed sessions without notice cannot be rescheduled. The group Workshops run with a minimum number of participants. If a workshop needs to be cancelled, youāll be offered a new date or a full refund. Care & presence Please let me know of any physical limitations or needs in advance. For everyoneās safety and ease, studio guidelines are to be followed throughout the session. Moments shared Occasionally, photographs or short videos are taken during workshops to capture the atmosphere and process.
